To use it, users need to open Gemini in the browser at gemini.google and select the “Pro” model. They can then prompt Gemini with phrases such as “show me” or “help me visualize” to generate a visual representation of a topic. These visualizations can also be customized interactively.

Anthropic introduced a similar capability for its Claude chatbot back in mid-March. Claude can also generate interactive charts and graphics directly in chat when it fits the context or when the user explicitly asks for them.

This update pushes Gemini further beyond text generation and into interactive knowledge exploration, which makes the chatbot more useful for education, research, and product demos. It also shows how quickly major AI platforms are converging on similar features, with Google and Anthropic now competing not just on model quality but on interface depth and user experience.
